Hi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.

We follow channels because we support them. And I know others are interested in who streamers support. Due to time zones hosting and auto-hosting tends to mean hosting the same few channels as most viewers are only gonna check out the host just after a stream or just before if they join the channel early. We could use a panel to list every channel we support, but when the followed channels list was public it already did that in a better way than a panel would because it showed art for each channel as well as just the name.
Allowing us to prioritise the channels we follow would also be useful. The list of live channels we follow is always prioritised with highest number of viewers at the top, but that's not a good indication of favourite channels. For example, big game developers always have more viewers than my best friend, but if my best friend is streaming at the same time as a big game dev I would rather watch my friend.
