This would be a great option for bot creators, as it doesn't feel like a gift sub was wasted on a bot.
As long as it only applies to randomly gifted subs, and not to specific gift subs - the reason being that some bots, you want them to say certain things that include your own emotes, so you want to be able to gift them a sub so they can do that.

When in theater mode, allow me to toggle visibility of the left 'followed channels' (and 'Recommended Channels' etc) bar.
Alternatively, make the video bigger (so you can't see channel name, title, tags) and allow me to toggle the search bar at the top. In this way, I would be able to have chat, stream and left bar visible, without wasted space by search bar
Currently, there are black bars to the left and right of the video I'm watching, even when chat is open on my ultra-wide monitor. This space could be filled by the bar on the left so that I can see when my other followed streamers go live.
This would be especially nice when I'm in full-screen (F11) mode.

As both a consumer and creator, consumers should have the option to disable stories - especially on mobile, where they take up so much space on the home screen: instead of seeing 5 live streams, i can now only see 3 which is a 40% reduction in information that i am interested in.
Ideally, give me the option to reorder elements on the home screen. Then everyone can be happy.
The main selling point of twitch is the live aspect, what's happening right now. this should be at the top, not prerecorded things.
