We would like to offer an “off-duty mode” for Mods, but it isn’t one of our top priorities at the moment. Will revisit in 2021.

We would definitely like to give Mods a way to communicate with each other more easily, and are starting to explore implementation options.

We apply IP bans in Chat based on users' Moderation actions in certain cases. We don't currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

Hey guys!
There were some discussions that weren’t super applicable to feedback and I have gone ahead and removed them.
We super appreciate the feedback and want to keep hearing your ideas. Please just keep it focused on bodypainting/body art community and feedback around that, over feedback on specific channels/users.
If you have anyone who you are concerned about on Twitch or someone who you are worried about how they are acting on Twitch always feel empowered to report them so our team can further investigate the situation.

Hi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.

Hi, thanks for flagging this and sharing your suggestion.
We share and understand your concerns about how the intentional, repeated misuse of tags can undermine the purpose of the tags product itself. Tags are an important discoverability feature for communities, and a powerful way for all Creators—but especially those that are underrepresented—to express their personal identity and creative vision for their content.
We also do not feel Twitch should be the judge of Creators’ personal or creative identity, so we typically only enforce against the misuse of tags when it is associated with other behavior that violates our Community Guidelines such as hateful conduct or harassment.
That said, as the VTuber community’s experience demonstrates, there are limitations to this approach and we are actively investigating additional steps we can take to protect and improve the integrity of the tags feature at scale, without infringing on good faith Creators’ personal choice…

Nudity, in the context of art (especially things like anatomy practice for artists) should be categorized as an +18 Art Stream. Explicit artwork of things like pornography should obviously be put up on another platform due to the nature of the content, but if for example a user was recreating an old Renaissance piece for study where the person(s) may be engaged in a violent, suggestive and/or lewd scene for personal practice, the individual should not be punished for such.
This would also be incredibly useful for monitoring creatives - who may do things such as 3D sculpting - to be able to create & share slightly Gorey/Suggestive WIPs with their audience, so long as it does not directly cross into a realm of illegal, morally wrong, or pornographic content.
In the context of regular streamers, an 18+ category blocked by a age-restriction wall/account verification would be beneficial to streamers looking to have less wholesome streams and *not* looking to advertise themselves to younger users in order to have serious or mature conversation going in their chat. If the platform is still wanting to support female streamers doing Hot Tub/Hot Yoga/Etc. (usually borderline lewd streams), then having a category for casual adult streamers to browse through may filter better for some users to find their new favorite content creators/genres. There are genuine streamers interested in fitness & others who could be or are abusing the tag for potentially borderline suggestive content.
