Disagree: There are already piles of teams that do very little in the way of community building. Getting to affiliate requires stats that indicate a streamer is just getting into Twitch streaming and has done only minor networking. Partner status, though terribly subjective in its opaque application approval at least has stats requirements that show a deeper willingness to 'play the game' and network with viewers, streamers, and build communities.

Agreed.. and its gotten worse since the posting of this comment. Yesterday was one of the big streamers doing nothing but focusing the camera on her licking 2 microphones with ASMR sound levels.

Hi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.

I was happy tosee this suggestion.. untill seeing it was from 2017. Well.. I made the same general suggestion to Twitch today over Twitter.. For 1 banning the bots and hate raiders should keep them off of the channel all together.

Ideally remove it from being seen at all.. but short of that at LEAST keep them from refollowing and retriggering follow notifications with that.
