Since I first commented, I discovered that genAI training was pushed through – despite widespread objections. It’s also on by default, evidently in hopes of catching as much free training as possible – and knowing full well that it’s unwanted. In fact, a *Twitch* staff member had this to say about consent on stream:

The bandwagon appeal is also not a valid claim to consent. Twitch knows this, and has been told exhaustively, via many communication channels, many times. This comes on top of Twitch having forcefully cluttered the Channel Points menu, replaced category images with genAI (including Art!), and gutted VOD archives.
Combined with Twitch’s evident disdain for the user base, this pattern is a severe violation of trust. I’ve been on Twitch for nearly seven years, and I’ve personally been seriously reconsidering streaming here. The way to regain users’ trust at this point is to remove the genAI training entirely.

Opt-out by default is best practice for invasive features - but some things are not only highly unpopular, but also actively detrimental to all involved. genAI is notorious for plagiarizing from realistically non-consenting creators, creating unhealthy dependencies, and diminishing the quality of projects - all while contributing to substantial environmental problems. (Note that on-by-default does not constitute realistic consent; to the contrary, it is predatory.)
These make genAI a failure, and so it fails to return on investments. Twitch will not succeed at recovering these losses through continued use. Twitch has already been told multiple times about these harms; among other things, adding genAI emotes and replacing category images with genAI (including Art!) are poorly received.
I have been streaming on Twitch since 27 September 2019. I value the work of real artists and streamers that I met here, and their autonomy & ownership is a driving force of that work. As an artist and streamer myself, I don't want my work to be used without my explicit consent, especially not for genAI. That's my hard stance on this.
If I discover that my or my friends' channels are being subjected to these features without consent, I will not hesitate to offboard from the Affiliate program and migrate to a competitor's platform, no questions asked. Rather than spending on something that drags us down, a far better use of Twitch's budget is towards the welfare of the streamers that power their platform.

genAI is extremely expensive to operate, is notorious for plagiarizing from realistically non-consenting creators of all kinds, and results in lower quality than actual people bring forth.
Adding genAI features similarly adds nothing to the stream experience. In fact, it detracts from the human interaction with the built-in distractions, and it will actually *discourage* me from engaging with Twitch as a viewer. Making these opt-out does not constitute realistic consent, and Twitch is no exception to their reputation being tanked by the egregious use of genAI.
If Twitch has this kind of money, it is better spent going towards the welfare of the streamers that power the platform, rather than being spent on something that drags them down A higher base split of income (ex: 70%) would do wonders for a number of streamers without the detriments that genAI is known to bring - and it would instead benefit Twitch's reputation to outsiders.

Outright resetting the value might be slightly much for streamers who need to take a break, but I can definitely see the appeal to high-consistency streamers getting recognized! (Especially so as one myself! I'm on my seventh year streaming and......)
Perhaps if the "consistency" value ticked down during inactive periods similarly to how it ticks up, it would help to keep the value itself reliable.

genAI features are not only detrimental to users' critical thinking, creativity, and independency, but also waste vast amounts of resources on tools that have virtually no use. Moreover, these tools have been known for other ethical issues, not least of them being invasiveness such as intellectual property theft.
Twitch should know by now how inauthentic genAI is. The genAI emotes from last December and the new category thumbnails (Art, Food & Drink, and more) are all known affronts to the community, creatives included.
It is extremely reckless for Twitch to continue entertaining ideas that are vastly unpopular and detrimental to the userbase. I urge them not to continue developing these tools as they will bring nothing but problems.

To add on to the OP, I can also confirm "TransRightsAreHumanRights" not working. Although some tags such as TransRights seem to have since been fixed, I'm not sure why these tags would have been blacklisted other than out of negligence and/or to scare off our trans friends & loved ones.
Given today's day & age, these people are already living in fear & frustration of the world around them, and it's extremely important that they are visible despite all of that. It is patently unacceptable to quietly sweep them under the rug on top of the harm that they are experiencing.
Being kind to trans people is common sense, and this having happened with the tags is furthering my own doubts of Twitch as well. Twitch's way to regain our trust is by publicly addressing these faults and communicating - properly - about how they'll be resolved.
