Please remove this feature. I do not want it in my channel, and I do not like it in other people's channels. Please keep bits. I use bits all the time but I will not use this new cheer system.

I really do not like this new system at all. It feels deceptive, it's less flexible, and you're taking money away from your creators. There are numerous other disadvantages as other people in the comments here have pointed out.
If this happened along side bits as basically a way to do a paid "highlight my message" then fine, but replacing bits with this entirely seems like a grave mistake.

I think a problem would be that if anyone can use them anywhere with just a follow, then people would follow a lot of channels only for the emotes and would be less likely to subscribe for emotes in general.

Please reconsider, I enjoy this feature both as a viewer and as a streamer. The badges growing is something I really enjoy seeing, and it's such a cool concept. It may be "limited in use" because when only getting 5 per month, it makes them feel scarce and it's difficult to know when they should be used. There have definitely been times where, once it's a little too late, I've thought "I should have made a Moment out of that."
Please expand on this feature and make it better don't take it away. The concept is great.
