Just how many times do we need to have this conversation Twitch? Your user base does not want to be associated with generative AI. Your user base is packed with creatives, you know, those people who make you money. Stop being ignorant of the issues so many people are vocal about and support your users, engage with them and work with them to create a community space.

Let us choose whether to use this "feature" or at least choose to only drop the video quality and leave the audio quality, because weirdly I can still hear it even if I can't see it, and I'm not paying subscriptions on channels to listen to them through a tin can on a piece of string whilst checking other sites.

I agree, I don't live in the same time zones as most of my favourite streamers, so if I manage to catch a stream live I immediate lose the streak again due to sleeping when they usually stream. It's very frustrating to constantly have this feature pushed on me when I have no meaningful way to interact with it.
