Hey all,
Thank you for the patience with us on this. This has been one of the most popular ideas on UserVoice and we definitely heard your feedback.
Today we launched /announcement for mods and streamers. Announcements can be used in chat to highlight a message and are available in 4 different colors along with the channel accent color. Because this is only part of the ask of this idea we are setting this idea to partial release so the community can continue to leave feedback on this.

Hi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.

Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

Ya big please for this. So often the spam accounts are the ones that are very new. Having an option to set a custom time from in minutes from 1 to 99999 (about 70 days) would be amazing on so many levels. Especially for spoilers, and trolls that put the spoiler in the username itself, this would be amazing. Also having an option to restrict follows from accounts in that time frame too would be amazing so they do not trigger spoilers just by seeing the follow appear.
