@Mavigra You misunderstand the point of this idea.
This is allowing nudity in ARTWORK, not for IRL Streamers or Vtubers.The Implied Nudity Policy at the time, allowed for tasteful Nudity in artwork ONLY, and that policy was heavily abused by streamers who didn't understand and misinterpreted its purpose.
Several Streamers of different genres, including VTubers, abused and misused the policy. The idea listed here is to bring that policy back, with more clarity, to avoid a repeat of what happened before.

@Rub8090 As someone who creates content on that platform, I can tell you right now that both sites are night and day to each other.
Chaturbate has Explicit Sexual Content all the time, sitewide.
Twitch does not and never will. Nudity does not equate to sex. It can be artistic and tasteful.Twitch and Chaturbate are NOT the same. Not even close.

Hey guys!
There were some discussions that weren’t super applicable to feedback and I have gone ahead and removed them.
We super appreciate the feedback and want to keep hearing your ideas. Please just keep it focused on bodypainting/body art community and feedback around that, over feedback on specific channels/users.
If you have anyone who you are concerned about on Twitch or someone who you are worried about how they are acting on Twitch always feel empowered to report them so our team can further investigate the situation.

@LittleSiberianBear The only change is more wording was added to make the rules clearer to understand. The rules themselves have not changed and have been the same for the past few years.
They are clearer to understand, so streamers can now see what crosses the line, and what doesn't. This is something that has been asked for the longest time. No one is being attacked or targeted, and even that was never an actual thing either.

No, they are not. Many streamers have been asking for clarification of the rules, and now Twitch has done exactly that. All they did was additional wording to help people understand the rules clearly.
When you understand how a rule works you are less unlikely to break it. No one is being targeted and the rules themselves haven't been changed in over 2 years.
Clarity does not mean/equal Chaos.

I support Bodypainting and the streamers who enjoy the practice. It's an art form that should always garner the highest respect and enjoyment from the community and should have more support from twitch.

There will never be a system that will stop anyone from lying about their age. As I stated in the idea:
It will (hopefully) signal to parents that the site might not be for their children and make better decisions to looking for/watching content that is more appropriate for a younger audience.
This is to aid parents in making better informed decisions in what content their children can watch. It has nothing to do with someone lying about their age on account creation.

Leaving it at the minimum age of 13 isn't any better either.

Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.
We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

That's the downside with anonymous anything: there is always going to be a chance a service or product is going to be abused, and when it happens you either improve on it or, when you've done all you can, have to get rid of it.
I was in favor of letting anonymous cheers at the time, but a ton of good has come from doing so, and I'm glad I was wrong on that one. Besides the legit ones that want to cheer the most or the heaviest will have zero problems being seen.

I need to interject here. As long as people are using the service, we are all subject to the same standards - The TOS and Community Guidelines IS the standard. The reason it's a Per-case basis is that not everyone does the same thing the EXACT same way.
This is about being more clear and precise about why someone got banned/suspended. If the same number of people were doing the a similar thing, and one of them went too far, based on the "hard line" stance, then everyone else that was doing that similar thing would also be banned even if they weren't in the wrong. That's "blind mass banning", and you don't want that.

I'm all in favor for this. There are a lot of performance artists out there, and they are just amazing. They need their own category so they can connect and grow and for fellow artists to connect.

I actually agree with this. It would be awesome to make this a thing for Affiliates. I ran for Twitch partnership so I could make my own team and expand my community. I think it's time for Twitch to do this for us smaller streamers. It would improve our presence here, better networking with others, and more style and flavor to the Twitch community as a hole.

I'm in favor of this.
Seeing that Politics affects everyone, I can toss my two cents in here.
When the original version of the policy dropped I noticed that it DID need a revision, as parts of it were unclear. However, after the revision and clarification, the rule makes sense.
Seeing that politics and personal experiences are two separate things, it makes sense to keep them separate, as while one affects the other, you don't NEED one to speak on the other.
Political conversation is talking and discussing the political SIDE of the issue, not the personal. It is possible to share your personal side of an issue, subject, or topic, AND keep it on a personal level.
The political conversation talks about the government, while personal stories and Life experiences are all about you. You don't need one to promote the other, as you can just start talking about Politics right from the jump.
I think the main issue here is that the bullet points suggest that you don't need the label if you are speaking on or coming from a personal viewpoint, which conflicts with the intention of other streamers against the bullet point: to combine the personal/emotional side with the political side to engage the political discussion.
That approach has been demonstrated by Frogan (Banned), as that resulted and led to inflammatory statements, outbursts, and ill-intended comments and threats.
It makes sense to have a policy to keep these two things separate, so no other streamer makes that same mistake.
It's fine to talk about your life experiences - I have done so before on my streams, and not once did I ever make any of it political. It makes sense to use the label if politics might become a subject that the streamer and their chat might get into and the label helps with that.
