Is it planned that Twitch will support the AV1 codec in the near future?

OBS, Nvidia and AMD support the AV1 codec.
I know that Twitch has already done AV1 tests: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/637388605

We have just tested Guest Star.

   Findings:
   - Only works on Chrome browser, Edge and Firefox support would be great.
   - Guest could not mute streamer [BUG?]
   - Guest cannot integrate the streamer into OBS as browsersource -> This would be THAT feature and really nice for co-op streams.
   - Guest name cannot be hidden. This can look ugly when cropping the OBS source.

Please reactivate this feature. It is essential to promote special events like a Birthday, 24 Hours Stream and so far...

   Twitch responded

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!

These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1422255927483318277
