This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. I used to love the twitch app for ps5, I could watch on a larger screen and still chat with people. Not anymore, I don't want to use a secondary device just to chat. the new update it so the delay is even longer than on mobile. Just revert the update. there was no reason to make the changes in the first place. and why did it log me out? an update shouldn't just be able to do that.

Who greenlit this Nightmare of a ui? Seriously, no one asked for another tiktok clone. Revert it back. Immediately. It’s atrocious and the person who suggested this should be demoted. Twitch is for long form content, not for short little blurb videos. Yall have those anyway, its the stories feature. I shouldn’t have a video playing immediately and blasting sound when I open the app. I shouldn’t have people I don’t follow showing up at all alongside that. I shouldn’t have to navigate to another part of the menu just to find the list of people I am following, and that list should have thumbnails so I can see what those streamers are playing. Just revert to the previous UI, it wasn’t broken, it was unique, and I didn’t get a migraine every time i opened the app to watch something.
