Hey all,
Thank you for the patience with us on this. This has been one of the most popular ideas on UserVoice and we definitely heard your feedback.
Today we launched /announcement for mods and streamers. Announcements can be used in chat to highlight a message and are available in 4 different colors along with the channel accent color. Because this is only part of the ask of this idea we are setting this idea to partial release so the community can continue to leave feedback on this.

Bring back the /me command with color (without italic).
and eventually add a setting for a few streamers who want to disable it,
or allow it to mods only.An error occurred while saving the comment Merovingien commented
i would like Twitch bring the normal behavior of the /me (get the color from the user, remove the italic)

There are new spam-technics that need to be report directly to a twicht-moderator-member.
Not the basic "IA Report system" because it's seems ineffective, and the new category of spam isn't in the choice type report.
I'm talking about the new spam-streaming fixed picture others multiple accounts, at the same time online, and activate the maximum twitch-ads to trap the viewers if they enter they stream.
The new spam-streaming seem to have the same title "Come watch me on $category-name".
Also for the "Wrong category" report system, it is totally INEFFECTIVE.
Because there is a limit to report the same user 2 or 3 times per days.
And also because the IA-bot behind your report-system is totally INEFFECTIVE.Some users are freely and willingly Spam-Streaming in the wrong game category during hours everydays, since manys months, and nothing happens to them.
Please put a twitch-human behind the "report wrong game category".
Or at least, put an automatic counter, if the users revieved xx amount of report for wrong game category, the twitch-human will analyze his online-stream.For the "wrong game category" i'm talking about the streamer of "RPG game" (like World of Warcraft) in a totally wrong game category.
Or the New Spam-Streaming of "DJ Mixing" spamming their mixing others normal games categories.
Go away "DJ Mixing Spammers" !!An error occurred while saving the comment Merovingien commented
Also some users are willingly streaming in the wrong category,
and if we try to report them (multiple times) by the normal-report-system,
nothing happen, they continue new streaming in the wrong category. One example : the people streaming "DJ mixing" in wrong category.
With a live-report-chat, we can explain (to a human) more precisely the problem, so he can check the user is doing this repetitively, and willingly.

What i was thinking, is a live-report-chat for twitch, with some real people from twitch in.
Maybe, it should be splitted by continent, and the differents "high traffic" peaks, at different time-zone.
But it should be avaible by "advanced reported persoon", that mean, if the user reported a lot of problems, and has a good rate of "real-useful reports".
So basic-users continue to use the normal-report.
And advancer-users can have acces to this special-report-chat.
Where we can explain some new kinds of advanced spam.Examples :
- new spambot sentences,
- new kind of follow-unfollow trigger with special user-names,
- and one recent thing i saw is a new type of spam "multiples streaming from different users, but they are only streaming the same things"...Merovingien supported this idea ·

You have a lot of different suggestions here, the latter of which have not been implemented so I will leave the topic open, but I wanted to let the thread know that we have recently released the ability to remove followers from your list by Blocking them.

You can see how to Block a user here: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/how-to-manage-harassment-in-chat#BlockWhispersandMessagesfromStrangers
Additionally, you can see your channel Banned Chatters in your Moderation Preferences in the Dashboard

Setting this to a partial release status as the majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

The problem doesn't come fro Twitch, the problem is at some streamers side.
When you first enter twitch, the "normal audio setting" on a video is set to 50%.
Video Ads use this setting. That means if the streamer set his streaming correctly, the output on the video should stay at 50% and he must be heardable.
But many streamers stream at a lower volume setting, so they force the users to change on the video the "audio setting" to 100%".
Here is the problem. Also keep in my some viewers don't have powerful speakers, or just have basic integrated speakers into monitor.
For users in this case, if the streamer stream at a too low audio levl, they can not put audio setting to 150% to correct the bad setting from the streamer.
But if the streamer streams at a correct value (heardable at 50% setting)
Viewers with basics speakers can hear it.
Viewers with amplified speakers can hear it too (by lowering the amplification
