Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

Hey all,
Thank you for the patience with us on this. This has been one of the most popular ideas on UserVoice and we definitely heard your feedback.
Today we launched /announcement for mods and streamers. Announcements can be used in chat to highlight a message and are available in 4 different colors along with the channel accent color. Because this is only part of the ask of this idea we are setting this idea to partial release so the community can continue to leave feedback on this.

I find the italic text harder to read then the coloured text, and I have decent vision and no reading difficulties. Plus the coloured text made raids more colourful and exciting. If a streamer wants to not have their audience using colour text they can have it in their rules.
Being able to select what type of advert we streamers have on our channel would be game changing. Especially for those who are family friendly.
