the entire point of twitch is to be a show and be interactive... if people have to wait a bunch of time before they can even talk, why would they even stay? they cant ask any questions or do anything until X amount of time... they worse for your channel then just having a mod take 1-5 seconds to push ban/timeout

You could get BTTV and add their name as a Highlighted word... its not quite the same but it will work for you

If you are on PC, you can download BTTV and it has sound notifications for whispers or Highlighted words

it could work for partnered streamers, but you cant just do it for every streamer since anyone can be a streamer... but then that is also like self promotion in other peoples channels every time you speak, it might be more harmful then good

going out of your way to see it or do it in games will lead to a ban, the only parts that are allowed are the unavoidable/story parts, therefore you can draw anything you want, as long as the focus isn't nudity or going out of your way to create nudity, which is completely impossible

There are many other places to go for that kind of thing, twitch does not need any part of their website to focus on any form of nudity, going out of your way to see it or do it in games will lead to a ban, the only parts that are allowed are the unavoidable/story parts, therefore you can draw anything you want, as long as the focus isn't nudity or going out of your way to create nudity, which is completely impossible

my biggest problem with this would be, you could get some really bad/offensive and low quality streams, its much better that it is for partnered streamers, it gives you incentive to get partnered and helps partnered streamers continue to grow, they put in their hard work and were recognized as good enough quality to become a partner.
HOWEVER, they seem to only really show high view count people on the featured channel and the partnered streamers that have low view's have no chance at all to get on the featured list, you made them a partner... why exclude them? the streamers with low views that do get featured just seem to be favorites of a staff/admin
