Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

I will not be using twitch for anything other than watch the 1 person I use my prime sub on. I'll stick to YouTube for everything else. I used to watch a bunch of streamers, visit random streams and stick around after the person I was watching hosted someone, unfortunately this wont be the case if they are forcing ads on everyone. Ads should be run by the streamer ONLY. Fix it.
What I love is when I'm listening to ASMR and a loud ad comes on screaming in my ear. Twitch don't care about mental health it looks like. After the recent BS with forcing ads on everyone I think I'll stick to YouTube.
