    Absolutely 100%.
    As a viewer, I do not want to be harassed by notifications that I didn't happen to watch a streamer consecutively.
    As a streamer, I do not want people harassed that they didn't watch me consecutively. It manufactures FOMO and could even lead people to feel resentment if their streaks get broken.

    We have heard the feedback in this idea & its comments and reworked chat replies  to reduce noise. By allowing users to reply directly to a specific message in a thread, only the user being responded to will be @'ed, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread.
