    Hold up why are there roughly 412 categories for chess (not counting auto chess which yes i know is a different game)?

    I'm coming at this from the perspective of a viewer and streamer of Super Mario 64 fanmade levels, which have to fit into the 1 category of Super Mario 64 - together with the original release.
    How are there literal hundreds of categories for chess and 71 for Minesweeper?
