   yup, that doesn't surprise me. they've used apple logic on us, that's for sure. next they'll say that u2f keys do no exist either.

   um... they... allow other apps, but I bet they still create an authy account in the backend.
   I'd gladly use u2f/fido, but honestly I don't see this happening, because they treat phone numbers as your identity.
