As an affiliate who already paid for twitch turbo for extended vod time (both for the vods to stay up AND so give myself time to turn them into highlights), and have turned my vods into highlights so that entire playthroughs and special events can be viewed on site, I find this extremely disheartening.

The fact Twitch hates vods and never gives us the ability to promote them is already hard, but this will just be a slap in the face to anyone trying to archive their work on site.

Twitch needs to re-evaluate. It should be optimizing the process and expanding its use, not limiting it further.

The non-response clarification provided by Twitch as a response to requests to remove the content classification flag for these topics.

Saying that streamers don't need to flag for "intermittent mentions" does not spark joy. In fact, it sparks dread. As is known with other streamers, even just a casual mention or display might get them a warning. Me speaking about my queer life and queer topics, no matter how little, becomes reportable and at the whims of some moderator who may be having a bad day and decides even one mention is too many.

Placing these topics into a warning category is indefensible and the category should be removed.

  5. Let Moderators use emotes. This would mean that bots such as Streamlabs and Moobot won’t have to be gifted subs to use emotes.
