Hey, about half a year is now over and we are getting closer to a release in the next months.
Are there any updates on this topic or could it actually be considered in the near future?
We would like to incorporate bit options into our game so the streamer can profit from it as well but under the current conditions that would not be an option for us.
We are the owners of one of the presumably biggest extensions on twitch and it would be fantastic if we could invest the maximum possible time to produce quality extensions with a more fair revenue split.

Add Timestamp when message was sent to channel.chat.message
Why?
Including the original timestamp of when a message was sent would be extremely valuable for multiple reasons:
Improved Debugging – When a server processes a message with delay, having access to the actual sent time makes it much easier to identify and troubleshoot latency issues in the message flow.
Support for Time-Sensitive Chat Games – Some chat-based games rely on the exact send time of a message to determine whether to process it. In the event of lag, having the original timestamp allows developers to rely on Twitch’s data rather than local server timing, ensuring fair and accurate gameplay.
This data is already captured by Twitch, so exposing it through the channel.chat.message event should be straightforward to implement.
Thanks in advance!
