This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.
We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

Absolutely hate this feature. It's a lie and an illusion when someone "cheers $20" during my stream but my twitch payout says i'm only getting $15.53.
Why does the FAQ section of this experiment say I'll receive 80%? All my math shows that $15.53 of $20 is 33%... but the viewers think I've gotten a full $20?
Not to mention the 6% you are charging to viewers who pay to use this feature...
An absolute scam from Twitch.
PS No viewers give a **** about having one emote unlocked for them during the stream. Emotes are NOT what people care about on this platform anymore. It's old news. We want REAL features and someone to listen to CREATORS!!!! -

The new feed is full of top partnered streamers and content I would never watch. After scrolling through 10+ streams in the feed i'm lucky to find one stream i'm actually interested in.
You also cannot pause the feed so it's loud and obnoxious when opening the app.
Would like a way to tap the screen and like the live to improve my algorithm.
Cannot find categories/games that I follow in the mobile app.
Would like to swipe all the way right on feed to see categories I can click into and see streams in the feed for that category. Then Swipe left does nothing now but it could be used to pull up my favorites/followed
Removing the thumbnails of my followed streamers was a terrible move I hate it! Show me what my favorites are doing!!!
Also, twitch is not tiktok which is why I like twitch! Why does Twitch want to be like tiktok when tiktok is pushing short form video and twitch is pushing long form streams. This new layout isn't conducive to long form content at all... show us testimonials of the stream below the feed, or the panels which we never really see on mobile
