You acknowledge that the current pre/mid-roll ads are disruptive and as a result of that feedback have created SDAs, however they have no impact on the ads that they were inspired by. It's literally just *more* ads.
Please have it so SDAs disable pre-rolls. SDAs are 100% a step in the right direction for this platform and the content on it, but simply adding them for the poops and giggles, along the statement that video ads are disruptive, whilst still running those disruptive ads just makes Twitch look disingenuous and yet again tone deaf.
Take this SDA idea and implement it in a way that is actually meaningful and beneficial in a consumer friendly way; have them disable pre-rolls. I guarantee people will run them far more frequently if it means getting rid of pre-rolls. I personally would be happy to run them every 15 minutes if that were the case.
