This should be something to opt in for small streamers. I know some small streamers can be very overwhelmed by big raids and may not be equipped to handle a large influx of viewers/chatters (small mod team or no mods even in chat). Good idea but I think it needs more planning to it. Since its in the investigation stage, I hope Twitch is taking this into consideration.

Still waiting on this. Since editor is already existing role in Twitch (unlike emote artist), I can't see this being too hard to implement. Not all of us editors are mods in chats.

It would be even nicer if you could pop this out too. I pop out some of the stuff in stream manager and it would be great to pop out all the stats so I can have it next to the stream.
As an editor, I don't want power over moderators. I do agree with editing panels. The streamer I edit for I also help created/format her panels. Being able to update them for her would be super helpful. But maybe instead of a flat "editors do this", it can be an optional permission? Like a checkbox that says editors can edit panels as well.
