From a security standpoint having it in place absolutely makes sense, if an account is logged into, that 'hacker' could create a 'backdoor application' into that account. Most people don't check (or know about) their Connections tab.
For sure having an option to this would be great.
A) If continuing to be automatic, revoke more recently authorized apps. If something was linked 2 days ago, maybe revoke it. But if an app has been linked for 6+ months, leave it be.B) Maybe after resetting the password, show "Recently authorized apps" below it with Revoke buttons alongside it. If a user changes their password and sees an application they don't recognize they can revoke it easily.

Changing status to long-term. To preserve ecressey's previous comment, "I'm not clear on the use case for this. It seems like with a resub chat message notification and subscribe/unsubscribe events you should have the data you need."

Categories would indeed be really nice. You see streamers that have a lot of different rewards for Sounds, Video Effects, etc. Would be nice to categorize them to make them easier to find in the redemption window

Thought of this while I was thinking about how I could now (as a third party) implement point rewards to be available only during certain games being played. Would require configuration from the streamer in my app, as my app would need to know what rewards to change.
Kind of odd to have as a 3rd party implementation vs 1st party in-dashboard setting, but things of that nature are plausible.
Discord has certain roles that are "managed by an integration", so it would be in a similar vein.
