We have heard the feedback in this idea & its comments and reworked chat replies to reduce noise. By allowing users to reply directly to a specific message in a thread, only the user being responded to will be @'ed, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Hurricane commentedStill just as bad, copy paste doesn't work. id rather just have people @ me then have to look through a thread to see what someone is saying to me. now when people reply to me i don't even bother trying to see what they say because its more effort just to look at a reply.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hurricane commentedThis new reply feature just gets in the way for me, its like one gigantic button that i cannot turn off. I use my right monitor to watch twitch on and sometimes instead of alt tabbing to that browser ill just click to it. Now if i do that ill just open a random reply with someone.

Can we get an option to completely hide the reply feature? if people still want it allow them to have their threads but let us that do now want it to hide it and keep things the way we like it. Twitch isnt a BBS, its a chat.
