They have decided to make it opt in by default. The most voted feature in the history of twitch, and they decided to ignore it. This is disgusting. They didn't listen to their creators. They won't even give a dime to anyone who they scrape from. I won't be paying a cent to Amazon ever again.

Forcing opt in is 100% scummy, and will alienate your creators. They will move to another platform. This will cause you, Twitch, to lose more money than the money you would make off selling peoples' data. If you do force an opt in, you better give the creators a 60% cut of the profits you make from the AI Scraping, or you're just plagiarizing with zero care about your content creators.

For those who don't know: This isn't a twitch issue. Amazon is the reason this was pushed through. If enough of us opt-out, they'll have data to show big daddy amazon that this was a poor business decision. Amazon has invested billions with zero return in AI, and is trying to flail -hard- at making it work in some way, including stealing from its own content creators.
