    I can't tell you how many times I've gone to a person's stream for the first time, gotten an ad right away before I have seen any of their content, and clicked away never finding out if I would have wanted to watch them or not because of the preroll.

    This hurts discoverability so bad and actively repels me from trying to find new people to watch.

    Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!   These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed.   8. Take chosen watch bitrate into account when displaying ads (Don't play ads that are high-bitrate-only when watching on a slow connection)
