Hey! we had a chat about this internally and landed on the fact it could become problematic, so we wanted to double check your suggestion in more details.
How would we define the order within a series? As this could be seen either as chronologically by release, or by story.

For example, MGS3 being the first one in the story, yet the 3rd one by release date. This could prove very divisive either way.

Another issue that could be problematic are differences in the order by region. Final Fantasy is an infamous case, where FFVI was released as FFIII in North America for example.

Was this the sort of approach you had in mind with such a feature? Let us know :)

I think the most objective way is to consider the order being the order of the very first release of each entry.

For the example of Final Fantasy, this would (likely) be the Japanese original releases that determines the release order, unless a certain release was before the Japanese release, then that counts instead. So even though several games weren't originally released in North America, that wouldn't matter, since it would be based on Japan. Unless you want the sequel-order to be per region.

But perhaps this system would be the best suited for games where the order is clear.

Hey! yes this is a great suggestion, we’ve definitely been wanting to expand our Game Media coverage with logos.
    Especially for PressKits for example.

Hey! We have decided that it would be very interesting to have the ELSPA ratings on IGDB and we would like to add it in the near future. We we probably bundle a couple of new age ratings together and add it sometime next year.

Some special symbols might hold certain functions in code and preventing these from being used ensures that usernames are more 'stable'.

/ | . * % are symbols that have certain functions and I can understand them not being allowed.

    - + & I do think should be allowed. & does have some functions, but that's usually in combination with # or ; which isn't allowed anyway.

I should have specified better in my suggestion. Groupings of redeems (folders) would of course be in the hands of the streamer, and not be an automatic function.

Furthermore, limits such as wait time between redeems, and the maximum number of uses per user or for the stream, should be able to be set for the group and individual redeems. - This means if you set the group to have a timer of 5 minutes, but each individual redeem to 10 minutes, this means you have to wait 5 minuets between each redeem of this group, but a total of 10 minutes to reuse the same redeem.

@Alfkid Yes, folders is another term that could be used. Whichever Twitch would find easier for users to understand.

Also good idea, how about a simple favourite-button on redeems with a favourite section

On the page /settings/revenue/leaderboards there is a translation error, but it might as well be the same timezone-issue as listed elsewhere.

In the Swedish translation, it states "nollställs automatiskt varje dag kl 12:00 PT" (resets automatically each day at 12:00 PT), but "PT" is not a valid code in Swedish. I know it is North American Pacific Time, but not only should it localise the code ("UTC-7") but it should rather give it in my timezone, which is 21:00 CEST/CET (and 20:00 CET during the few weeks). Even better would be if the time this resets is based on the streamers timezone instead.

On the page /settings/revenue/subscription/badges it also has an issue with dates. It also crops the year down to 2-digits unnecessarily. So it would say 23-05-01 instead of 2023-05-01, despite there being plenty of space, because the word "Grundläggande" fits.

Further issues on the dashboard can for example be found on /settings/channel/stream-events where you can set the date for the anniversary, and the date is forced to the format "MMMM dd, y" with English regardless of locale. So it will say "May 01, 2023" even in Swedish, but it should say "1 maj 2023" in Swedish.

A weird bug is also that when I choose a date, it will pick one day earlier. So if I pick 3 May, in the date-picker, the field then say "May 02". This might be a timezone issue where I choose "3 May 00:00 CEST" which then is 2 May in UTC and in USA, which could be the reason why?

Also, the Swedish translation for "N/A" is "E/T" which is a non-standard translation and I had to check what the English wording was to get what it means. An actual established abbreviation in Swedish is "i.u.", but there is no problem writing out the full "Ej tillgänglig" or "Ingen uppgift" since there's plenty of space for that.

I do understand that it is possible to replace Å with AA, Ä with AE, Ö with OE, it just makes is simpler to allow ÅÄÖ in the first place. Do note that this doesn't work for Finnish and other languages.

Another example is in Hungarian where É is replaced with E' but Ö is replaced with O:, but : isn't a valid character in the input-field, preventing the ASCII-style writing of Hungarian as well.

Easiest is to use Unicode, and expand and allow at least the Latin-1 extended letters: À-Ö, Ø-ö, ø-ÿ.

Twitch/Amazon requires this information to be correct, but doesn't allow the actual letters to be used, meaning the information can't be correct. So if a Swedish street-name contains Ä, you either have to allow Ä as a letter, or I have to input the wrong information.
