Frankly it's pretty gross to be using genAI imagery to represent any creative endeavor. It's completely non-representative of what the actual creative process is like and spits in the face of people who haven't bought into the snake oil hype!
Not to mention it just looks cheap and tacky. What's wrong with you, Twitch? Gross. Gauche.

Any AI features or initiatives to train generative AI should only ever be opt-in. Companies using our work to train their models against our will is a disgusting violation of community trust and an ultimately self-defeating idea. Moving forward with attempts to force it on users will prove to be the undoing of the entire platform, as has been proven time and time again by various analogues in other spheres of social media and media production.
Streaming will continue with or without you, Twitch. The ball's in your court on that one. Are you going to be a crash-and-burn money pit that loses the respect of the entire global community or are you going to push past this and realign yourselves with the wishes of the people you provide service to?
