Think honestly most here do not either know how averages work or how the viewer count actually works.....Here it is in a nutshell the longer you stream the lower your average will become so if your streaming hours upon hours with 2 - 3 people it is never going to work....As soon as you hit your 3 viewers stop stream start again the next day rinse repeat. Always have your stream summary open to check what your current average is once it hits 3 then stop the stream easy. I did this and was affiliate within a week. I have also made affiliate using the same strategy for streamraiders which requires you to have a 20 viewer average over 14 days .
As for those that are saying they have 20 to 30 chatting and not getting the average i think they aren't being very honest about their numbers i can garantee the viewer count is not that broken.
Remember twitch only counts the first 2 tabs opened by a viewer if they have yours open as the 3rd then it simply does not count. Also mute the tab not the player.
I do not wish this to change as it just promotes follow for follow if the average is removed.

This just promotes the use of follow for follow services or groups in my opinion followers does not necessarily mean growth i seen many affiliates with 5k to 12k followers not partnered with only a average of 5 to 8 viewers. Why should you be given recognition for something so easily manipulated.

From the sounds of the many of these comments in this and others about the same thing people just want an easy in...They do not want to work for the achievement it seems some just think all they need to do is hit the start stream button and people will come in especially thinking if they are playing the latest game etc.
What do you bring to the table??? Are you networking, going to other streams meeting new people in your catergory? Are you raiding that one or 2 people to somebody or just stopping stream? Whether your raiding with 1 or 100 it doesn't matter it gets your name out there to that streamer and they will either shout you out or come check you out I know i do......
This mentality of let us have it for nothing just slaps those who actually worked for this affiliate achievement in the face in my opinion all because some just either not willing to take advice or just simply have the wrong mindset.
