Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Moreover, many streams run requests from viewers. If ads pop up and block the stream during your request, it's incredibly annoying and intrusive.
Twitch, please stop bending the knee to advertisers and focus more on user experience. You're a streaming platform, not an advertising agency. Annoying me with ads that randomly pop up and block the stream don't make me want to subscribe or buy those products, they make me want to close Twitch entirely and do something else. It's awful.

These ad breaks are getting worse. 1 minute of ad breaks every 5 minutes? What the **** is wrong with you, Twitch? Nobody is going to watch your platform if you keep this up.
