Since Twitch is going to introduce follower emotes for all broadcasters soon, I think it's important for broadcasters that their chat bots are following their channels, so the bots can use the follower emotes in chat messages. This is why it should be possible for bots to follow their users automatically.

Hey all,
Thank you for the patience with us on this. This has been one of the most popular ideas on UserVoice and we definitely heard your feedback.
Today we launched /announcement for mods and streamers. Announcements can be used in chat to highlight a message and are available in 4 different colors along with the channel accent color. Because this is only part of the ask of this idea we are setting this idea to partial release so the community can continue to leave feedback on this.

Three choices for streamers would be great: off, mod-only, on

This would be really nice! Just yesterday, I was raided on my starting screen while I was afk getting something to drink. The raiders were pretty much gone when I returned. But also useful for bathroom breaks, and the end of the stream, of course.
My command suggestion is:
/noraid - disallow raids until the end of the stream
/noraid [time] - disallow raids for a certain amount of time, similar to /timeout
/noraid 0 or /noraid off - allow raids again
