Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. No one with enough braincells actually wants GenAI in the first place, yet corpo-pigs are more than happy to try and hamfist it into everything they can for... profit? I guess that's the idea, which is amusing considering that GenAI is circling the toilet. Slowly and surely, but when it's dead and flush, I imagine it'll take everything that's touched it with it. So the bare minimum they should have is opt out of ALL GenAi related interactions AND off by default.
**** GenAI, and **** Twitch for thinking this will enhance the platform.
