    As in evensub?

    All eventsub topics are cost 1 unles you have an auth token for that broadcaster then it's cost 0

    or if it needs a scope then it's always cost 0.

    Public topics flip/flop cost depending on auth status of the caster in the conditions

    Moderators cannot vip/unvip

    Only the caster can

    To do it via chat will require the token to have `channel:moderate` on it in order to run moderator actions in the channel. So there is an additional permission involved not jsut the scope.

    Since a token can have channel:moderate on it but you can still log into chat and join a channel you are not a mod in, you'll try to do a mod action and instead of a scope error you'll get a "not a mod" error, or in this case "not the caster" error

    I'd of expected that unvip is a moderator action to be broadcasted to the pubsub topic where I'm subbed as the broadcaster so that unvip can be monitored.

    But if it's not supposed to then thats fine.

    I'm sure it's intermitten though, will check around my logs further
