    We apply IP bans in Chat based on users' Moderation actions in certain cases. We don't currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

    That wont stop the trolls, they can always reset the modem to get a new IP or enter the site using proxy.

    Please don't that will only make the "LOW" quality setting go also up on the Bitrate resulting on a lot of people not been able to watch the stream.

    Sadly Twitch doesn't have good speed to some places and even when we have a good internet, we can't streams other than in Low or Med.

    Unless Twitch goes back to the "360p" or "480p" fixed quality options, I don't think its a good idea.
