Please revert the recent overhaul of the Mobile App. Don't try and fix it, just dump it completely.
Homescreen/Following Pages: Autoplays a random stream. It can be loud and is just always annoying, not to mention instantly using data when usually I look for a stream I follow before watching. I often watch VODs and enjoyed being able to quickly continue where I left off from the homescreen/following page, now they are just gone. Completely gone. This is unacceptable. Why was this taken away from us?
Popout Mode: Completely gone from mobile. Why? This was useful. Now when I want to browse something while watching the stream, I can't. No option, just gone.
Whispers: When a user sends me a whisper, I no longer can respond without completely leaving the stream I was watching. Why? This is just a downgrade in all aspects.
Clips: On mobile just often don't work, does nothing when the button is pressed. Guessing that closing the stream you are watching breaks it? IDK.
This whole new UI/UX was just a terrible attempt at copying TikTok/YouTube Shorts, and it isn't working. Just taking a look at the App Reviews on the Google Play Store and you can see the rating of the app is tanking so fast. Please just revert this overhaul, it's just terrible in so many ways. The previous layout was working quite well and should have been improved on instead of completely dumped for this.

This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. This was just added to the API, including the ability to add and remove pinned messages, but it requires moderator:manage:chat_messages or moderator:read:chat_messages which I understand for adding or removing but for just getting seems like overkill. If this gets added, can we please only require channel.chat.message? I don't understand why we would need to be a moderator when a regular user, even one who is not logged in, can see Pinned Messages.
