So I got in contact with twitch support finally after trying for months (was being muted for Zelda) and they said they were contacting Audible Magic to try to fix the algorithm.
What I gleaned was that they've done what they can against the songs that are out there (may or may not work, cause these copyrighting artists just update their profiles and change wording. Also new ones appear every day).
They said the "issue had been resolved with Audible Magic", but I sincerely doubt it. I think it may be beyond anyone's control at this point. Much like the internet itself.
WHAT YOU CAN DO - just appeal the mute, say you did not use the song it says, and they'll unmute your VOD in like 30 mins. You won't get a copyright strike. Or at least I haven't yet, and this has happened like 6 times.
Sending Twitch support the Reddit page about this seemed to make them finally take me seriously, so I recommend sending supporting links with your email.
Oh and I wouldn't bother reporting them to Nintendo. Despite what we've all heard, they don't seem to care about copyrights lol. Apple Music too. Neither have done a thing lol.
