This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

New app is bad. Video starts playing as soon as you open app. Even when don't auto play is turned on. Also can't cast to Chromecast anymore. Having list of followed streamers and not being able to sort them is really terrible ui as well. If there was a ux team working on this they have failed you.

it is beyond annoying to see this clip at the top of the app. remove or relocate to the bottom. also having to uncheck featured clips on a specific channel is also annoying.

You turned off the autoplay, but not being able to see stream titles or screenshot of users I follow is still terrible. I follow them because I want to see what they are doing. If I am watching a streamer I follow, and want to see what other streamers streamers I follow are doing, I can't. I get booted to the terrible 'home' screen then have to click the followers button, then I am on the terrible follower interface where I have no idea what my followed streamers are doing. Cut your loses on new design.
