I see two possible explanations here.

    1. Charitable: Twitch is not providing sufficient RoI and is being forced to aggressively generate revenue by Amazon e.g. significant Turbo price hikes, aggressive ad enforcement.

    2. Realistic: Unchecked greed.

I cannot support a company that treats its customers so poorly. I have also immediately cancelled my Turbo sub, as well as my channel subs and instead aggressively ad-block on Twitch.

What do you mean by re-direction? Please let us know how we could improve this. Our support team is directly available via the Contact Support link when browsing the Help Portal. Thank you!

The problem is, the majority of the categories in the dropdown menu end up redirecting you to a generic help page rather than letting you contact support.

So, you have to select one of the very few, probably unrelated categories, in order to actually send your query to support.

It is an incredibly frustrating user experience as your form submission gets erased every time you get redirected so you have to enter everything again.

The system has clearly been setup this way to insulate the support team from Twitch's user base, probably because they are massively understaffed and have no idea what they are doing half the time. Par for the course with Twitch.
