Twitch would rather toss LGBTQIA+ people under a bus and join with the bigots to run them over personally than lose advertisers. Your hearts are as dark as the night sky.
By the way, where are the online pseudoleftists who allegedly care so much about us? The ones who couldn't help but antagonize the bigots and push them over the edge into furthering their hate campaign that resulted in this change. Where are they now?

This should have never happened. Really hoping Twitch shows some awareness instead of ignoring clear cut problems. They have a precedent for this (since the masking-for-twitchcon petition was popular and also ignored), so really hoping for a new leaf to be turned over here. Tacit support for infection and genocide is really not what anyone wants Twitch to be about!

Considering there were *at least* 600+ COVID positives documented from social media alone ( https://twitter.com/zachbussey/status/1718721007597351196 ), there is a clear and present need for COVID safety at Twitchcons from here on out. Masking is the lowest hanging fruit to implement for all attendees. Providing high quality masks (not baggy blue surgical or cloth) to all attendees is well within Twitch's means.
This is a no-brainer.

Twitch further confirming they don't care about creatives by doing this after the AI cat emote situation. This won't help them make more money and will disincentivize people from supporting creators they care about through Twitch. This is a lose-lose in the most banal, short-sighted manner possible. Such is policy under these ghouls.
No AI-generated anything on here. There is a rich, diverse, talented pool of creatives on Twitch. Commission them.
