This could work however, it would make it a lot easier to buy affiliate then. All you would need is some fake followers. The active viewer count just proves that a) you didn't buy them. And b) you haven't been streaming for two years and just so happen to get 50 followers over time but not actually earn it.

The current affiliate path works great in my opinion. It may be difficult for some, but it insures that most people who get affiliate deserve it. If you are struggling with getting to affiliate, don't complain about the system. Twitch doesn't promote new streamers. You have to promote yourself. I streamed for a year and got nowhere, then two weeks after starting my tiktok i reached affiliate. Use other platforms to boost your twitch and it will come once you have earned it👍😃
