On 2/2, we will turn off Chants.
While this feature was popular, we observed negative impacts to minutes watched for significant groups of creators.

No. Just no. There's already features built in to prevent this kind of thing, why would you then create a feature that does it on purpose? (Speaking of, just saw a stream spammed with bots defeating unique-only chat by randomising the start of the line, because that's all automod cares about...)

Definitely this. I have 1st badges in a few streams, and I actually don't like that I have to choose between having it in all or none of them. Let the streamer decide!

Cons: this would open up huge vectors for data harvesting via hacks, with seriously increased levels of unnecessary personal user data having to be collected, stored, and reviewed by Twitch. Ridiculous.
Repeating what so many have said, because it's just as true every time: training AI off of streams is wholesale theft of both the streamers' original work and that of all the people and companies whose work also appears on those streams. You are a broadcaster, you do not own ANY of the content that appears on these streams and have no right to sell it or repurpose it for profit. If you want to train off of our stuff PAY US, and pay those we feature.
