There was an error during translation
It was not clear in the communication I received that bits would be turned off in favor of this experimental feature. I had viewers who went to cheer and were very confused and did not want to use this new feature because they had purchased bits to use on my channel. So, it actively discouraged people cheering on my channel. Someone figured out that bits still worked via mobile, and viewers went there to cheer instead. Overall, this change was a negative experience for me as a streamer and for my viewers who stock up on bits to use them later. They do not want to do an instant transaction. I wish I could turn this off. I also wish there was some indication of how long the test was running. Not a fan of this.
