I’m leaving this topic open for the specific feedback presented, but just wanted to update that the team has added some more customization options since the launch, and will continue to add customization to the page over time. Thanks for your suggestions!

It doesn't even make sense to not be able to customize how your front page looks.
Every streamer is different, the new layout takes away the key factor of diversity, imo.
Panels and Offline Screen should be visible immediately, without having to click on 'offline chat' or 'about'.
A lot of streamers paid for their twitch designs, to make it fit with their personality & stream. Taking that away from them is horrible.
Make it an option to choose which layout you want. Make it more customizable. Add panel layouts/grids that every streamer can choose from, whether they want a row with 3, 4 or 5 etc. panels, so it will look the same for everyone.
And in general, it would be nice if Twitch could ask streamers and viewers for feedback BEFORE trying to make any changes.
