This would be extremely helpful. For Crowd Control we allow viewers to exchange their Channel Points for Crowd Control Coins, and even trigger effects directly from Channel Points. But this spams up the chat like everyone else has mentioned.
We have larger creators who cannot use this feature because anytime they turn it on, their chat becomes useless. Viewers can't talk, and the streamer can't read anything.
Having a setting in the channel rewards page that hides redeems, and allowing the API to also enable that would make these a lot more useful.
Even having it so that the text ONLY appears for the redeemer would also go a long way in case there was a worry that the person redeeming a reward didn't have a way to confirm they redeemed something.
