As an artist who has been streaming on twitch for 4 years almost and having art be my most streamed category, this is really disappointing to see, the use of Ai is actively hurting the creative areas around the internet especially on twitch. After the AI cat incident back in December this isn't really the direction Artists wanted especially after all the good twitch has been doing by working with artists to make emotes (E.G: Valentines emote and Hype train emotes)
The Icon for the art category especially is not the most appealing and will start turning new viewers away from the category (since it doesn't stand out like it used to)
Listen to artists/ creatives when we say this move and repeated use of AI will lead to damaged relationships between both parties. End of the day it feels we have went from one step forward to many steps back.

YESYES as someone who joined in with the free emotes as part of the artists and makers club the artist badges help bring more recognition to the artists than attribution (which cant be seen on mobile! but still super helpful!) having 5 is far too little! more badges means more awesome peeps get recognition its a win win!!

As a Art Streamer Gen AI has already been a big challenge for us to face and this adds onto the problems- If our streams are trained in turn our work could be getting trained on to.
I doubt at the moment AI cant be avoided with how many companies insist on using it but an opt out by default is needed! especially since people can be unaware of their stuff being used for training!
Forced AI training is a big turn off for a lot of streamers (new and old) and viewers as well!!!
