I agree. I have already turned off notifications for shouts completely, and am still receiving notifications about them when I log into Twitch. I don't understand why they're making the "toggle off" feature available if it is not actually available. I don't understand why they felt that we needed this feature *in addition to Stories*. At least those you can ignore easily. We live in a world dictated by little read badges trying to grab at our attention, and I turn them off on everything I possibly can; having another one forced upon me is ruining the experience. Until I could locate the option to turn off ALL Shout notifications, I was unfollowing people purely based on whether they were suddenly doing Shouts despite my spending little to no time in their streams. Why would Twitch add this feature without the ability to properly opt out? All it's doing is making me want to spend even less time on Twitch because they don't seem to care about the user experience, only what "neat" bells and whistles they can roll out that nobody asked for.
