yeah regional pricing is stupid, theyre forcing me to charge the saem for my t1 sub as a Disney+ subscription, i cant compete with million dollar budget star wars and marvel episodes at the same price point. my content is not worth anywhere near as much, and so i should charge less to hope to compete for a slice of the $$ . further every streamer offers different amount and quality of stream but are all forced to charge the same sub price, thats madness.
it seems like a quick $$ grab for twitch ignoring smaller and new creators. twitch can increase regional pricing and the big streamer with 1 million subs will bring in $1 million more dollars because they already have the following and the capital to provide greater value proposition content and their subscribers will pay the higher price, meanwhile smaller creators get priced out of subs because the value of their content can not compete at that price level.

yes, we need to end regional pricing. twitch forcing me to charge the same for my t1 sub as a subscription to Disney+, i cant compete with Disney content. ill be the first to tell you D+ has way better value proposition than i do with million dollar episode budgets and huge back catalogue of popular IP like marvel and star wars. twitch thinks someone is going to pay that just to get some emotes in my channel? it forces me to either quit streaming or spend a ton of time and capital to grind out more content hoping that someone will sub to me instead of Disney+, since people dont have infinite money and can only watch 1 thing at a time. if i continue to stream the content i want to stream i will never get a sub at the same price as Disney.

regional sub pricing is endlessly stupid. not only are salaries not the same in countries but each streamer offers different amounts and quality of streams yet they are all forced to charge the same prices. t1 sub price in canada is same cost as Disney+ sub, i cant compete with Disney content at the same price point, my content doesnt have million dollar budgets and i dont have 50+ years of back catalogue content, but i have to charge the same monthly price.

hmmmm, sounds like i should be streaming on youtube instead. localized sub pricing is endlessly stupid. i have to charge the same for my t1 sub as Disney+ sub, and ill be the first to tell you i dont offer million dollar budget per episode with over 50 years of back catalogue content. ppl dont have infinite $$ and they can only watch 1 thing at a time, im going to lose to D+ every time. you need to let users set the sub pricing so that if offers customers and attractive value proposition.

yeah this isnt just in turkey. in canada the t1 sub is the same per month as disney+, how am i supposed to compete with my content at the same price point as Disney? i dont have a million dollars budget for every stream i do, and i dont have over 50 years of back catalogue content. you need to let t1 sub prices be set by the streamer so they can set a price in line with the value proposition of the content they offer.

yeah this is a good idea, i was in a ***** streamer channel to see if they actually did anything on the stream or they just relied solely on their super low cut top and tons of makeup to take little boys money. they were def leaning heavy on the cleavage and i left after a minute or so but in the minute i was there someone gifted me a sub i would never use. its annoying because i spend countless hours in streams i like and no one gifted me a sub to those channels and now i had a free sub to a channel i would never watch because im old enough to go on pornhub by myself so i dont need the twitch ***** streamer sub.

i came here to say the same thing, so ill just comment on it. it seems silly to force viewers to be prime members. its hard enough to get some people in your stream then you try to show content only a % would have access to, youre instantly filtering out viewers you worked to get. im glad i tested it out before i went through all the effort to get a bunch of my friends excited to hang out and watch something fun then have non-prime members drop out, everyone let down. i think its getting to the point where everyone has cashed in their free trial, so thats not a viable solution for most people. i also had to stop the watch party.
i think it would make far more sense to let non-prime people in watch parties, its essentially as if were hosting 'tupperware parties' for prime video, inviting all our friends to our stream and showing off the great content they could watch if they had prime, like us. then theyre going to realize they dont need me to finish watching if they sub to prime themselves, or they come back to twitch to watch more on my stream later. either way you end up on top. you could at least do it with amazon originals older than 6 months. i also like the other posters idea about getting kickbacks if someone signs up to prime through your watch party, and they make a good point that we round up a bunch of people on our stream to watch the content that they have to pay to see yet it doesnt really benefit my stream or me at all. especially because at that point they could say why have this guy take up space on my screen now, ill just watch it myself and leave, after ive done all the legwork all the benefits go to prime sales.
yeah t1 sub price here is now the same cost as a sub to Disney+. i cant compete with disney+ at the same price point, i dont offer anywhere near the same level of content, ill lose to them everytime. i need to sell my content for less than disney.
