    🙏 sometimes i have to pause/play several times in just 10 minutes during a vod.
    As others have said - while watching a past broadcast the screen goes black but the audio continues. If you don’t do anything the apple tv goes to screensaver mode. If you push play/pause twice the video speeds up to match the audio and you’re good…for now.
    This also happens during live streams, though less frequently than past broadcasts.

    also i’m just realizing this thread is for mobile, not the apple tv app. sorry, moving to the correct thread.

    yeah…the app always defaults to auto and changing it from auto to 1080 to auto again doesn’t change anything.

    Yep, and like others have experienced it’s not just vods, it happens during live streams. If I leave it on the black screen long enough the apple tv will go to sleep. sadge.
