This could've also been referenced from Baloo in "The Jungle Book", Duck Tales, Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers, or any number of cute animals in media.
The way this has been enforced (unevenly, I might add) would also result in excluding wagging tails from people's pets (everyone's pets are usually "the real stars of the stream" by community opinion).
The nature of inconsistent enforcement and removing these has always left every streamer and the communities I'm part of confused why theirs were removed. It genuinely doesn't make sense to remove these.

There are many reasons to hide this. Most especially when larger channels make new redeems- chat floods with these.
